I read this in anticipation of touring Germany with Kristy's cousin, Delos. I learned a good deal about Germany. It has quite a few large cities which serve as regional centers. I learned a lot about Frankfurt and Munich where we were going to go. One thing I learned was BMW stands for Bavarian Motor Works.
A good overview of Germany to help my planning. I saw a few things I'd like to see and even that the Olympics were in Germany and I can swim in the pool. This book helped make my trip a little less intimidating and I appreciate the simple map of cities in the back of the book.
