The critters get candy on Easter day that come with rules about not eating any until after breakfast.They go to church on Easter morning all dressed up. These critter celebrate with eggs and a picnic and helping small children find eggs. No real reason for why we celebrate Easter.

This is a good book to read for children to learn a little about Easter. It does not get into the religious aspect just what you do on the day of Easter and that the Easter bunny comes. It depends on the students in your classroom if this book is appropriate or not.

The Little Critter books capture topics that interest children, this one included. Illustrations are fun and expressive. This title shows the discovery of the Easter baskets, a trip to church followed by an egg hunt and picnic.

My kids loved the Little Critter Books when they were little. We just reread this one last night and they still get a kick out of Little Critters antics and expressions.

It is just the day in the life of a little critter. Very matter of fact story telling, very relevant since it is March. My daughter likes the story, she has memorized most of it, just a few more nights of reading .....

I love little critter books in general, but this was a book that makes kids think that the Easter bunny is going to bring them all these great things for easter. We try and skip this book.
