I read this with my three year old daughter this evening. She loved the book and is excited for her first Dentist appointment in a few days. I read the book 4 times tonight and then she flipped pages by herself for a little while. She always giggles when I brush her teeth because it tickles so imagine her delight when critter giggled too!!!!!! The illustrations were fun and realistic. She excited to go into the "Space ship" room for tickling and spitting.

This book is about how a little critter goes to the dentist and says how he sees a girl with braces and how he wants some, and about a nurse takes him back to clean his teeth by himself and how the dentist says he has a cavity and the dentist cleans it out and so on. It is a really short book and it would be fun for kids.

Little critter goes to the dentist. After the dentist discovers a cavity, he becomes scared. He realizes it did not hurt and there was nothing to be scared of. Everyone goes to the dentist, so it is good to encourage students to be brave. Teachers can also talk about ways to prevent a cavity.

Takes us through the journey of going to the dentist. Great to use during dental health month. Kids always love stories that relates to them.

I really enjoy reading this book to the children at work. It's a cute little story about "the Little Critter" going for a check up at the dentist. It takes you through waiting in the waiting room all the way through getting a needle and having a cavity filled. The children in my group seem to really enjoy the story. They usually always have Lot's of questions about the needle and the x-rays, no matter how many times they hear it.
