For any man who is interested in truth, you should start with the Word of God itself, then to help aid you in the things of the Lord concerning your marriage and biblical responsibility as a husband, this book is a must read. As some have said it may be that you already know this, but, the pointed and clear reminders in this book make it very worth the time to read. It clearly uses scripture to point to the truth and forces you to think clearly and fully as to yourself, and your behaviors to you...more

The Exemplary Husband did a reasonable job of assembling scriptures and topics together under the themes of marriage, responsibility, and Christ-likeness. This book is probably one of the most beneficial books I've read in a while. As a person aspiring to be an exemplary husband to my future wife, this book convicted me many times as well as taught me. I knew that there was a lot that I needed to change in order to be a godly husband but MAN this book showed me that I am nowhere close to where I need to be. A book for men young, old, single or married. Great for helping men better understand their identity in Christ as godly men.

Helpful for men struggling with their Christian responsibilites as a husband, and even a good reminder for those who aren't. The chapter on pride was especially convicting. There are things he mentions in his list of hidden pride that will cause any man (or woman)to cringe.
