A Fascinating guide to the history and current condition of London's cemeteries. While none match the splendor of the Parisian cemeteries that inspired their designs, places like Highgate have a magical atmosphere. It's such a shame that indifference, lack of funding and the stupidity of vandals have destroyed so much of this wonderful part of our heritage.
