Abrí este libro por primera vez cuando tenía unos 9 años, y hasta el día de hoy no puedo sacármelo de la cabeza. Es una historía para niños, sí, pero también es una historia real. El ingenio de la autora para contar la historia es otra cosa que me cautivó, porque cada capítulo era como una ventana a Lucía, y al avanzar en la lectura, tenías una nueva perspectiva para entender lo que ya habías leído. These are the kind of books we need. Those that aren't straight forward just read one page after the other. the first time I opened this book, way back in the day, I was quite confused as to why the chapters jumped from one of the main stories to the other.

Me pareció genial que uno pueda elegir cómo leerlo: son dos historias que van intercaladas capítulo por capítulo. Los impares son una historia, los pares la otra. Yo lo leí en orden "cronológico", y me encantó estar saltándome páginas pero después volviendo al comienzo, habiendo llegado al final llevando solo la mitad del libro. Me enamoró la forma en que esta relatada la historia cuando tenía diez años. Realmente me sentí identificada, tal ve por primera vez, con alguien. "Hasta el domingo" es probablemente responsable de mi dulce adicción por los libros.

Leí este libro cuando tenia menos de 10, lo mandaron a leer para el colegio y fue el primer libro que me enganchó desde el inicio y lo terminé fascinada. Es una historia infantil y recomendada para niñas de esa edad:3
