Wow! Hang on to your leather pants ladies and gentleman, cause its going to be a wild ride! ;)

This book actually has a really cool plot! Its a murder mystery wrapped up with a big hefty dose of BDSM. This book has lots of sex and its pretty amazing too- but you have to like BDSM. If you dont, this will really turn you off.

The story is about 2 police officers- Mick, a homicide detective and Carolyn, an aspiring homicide detective who is currently working in vice, that team up to work undercover

Mick (The Iceman) McGraw and Caroline Palmer go undercover into the BDSM scene to hunt down a sexual predator who is preying on thirty-something year old couples who like to take a walk on the wild side. You can see pretty fast that Mick is far from innocent. And even though Caroline isn't used to chains and whips, she seems to be a quick study. She's spellbound by this lifestyle and agre

Whew! If you have always been a bit curious about the whole BDSM scene but didn't really get the Master/Slave relationship (I know I certainly sneered at it unless I were to be the mistress, of course, lol) this might be a good book for you to read.
The story is about a very cold, untouchable, hot male detective (enters the master) that goes undercover with another female detective that secretly lusts after him (enters the slave) to catch a serial killer that is brutally murdering couples that a
I am ruined. Absolutely ruined! Hands down one of the best, hottest well-written thriller eroticas I have ever read. Slave to Love was just incredible!!! If anyone has read this and can recommend something similar, please send a rec my way :)

The heroine Caro went from a cop on the traffic beat, to working the hooker/john rotation, to now a homicide case with the sexy, seemingly unattainable Detective Mick. The fatal attraction feel, the escalating sex, the sexual serial killer who may or may no

I was surprised at how bad this was on my reread. I couldn't get past a quarter of it. There were some lines that did lift it a little - but too few to stop me from wondering what I saw in this three years ago.

Even though the plot is trite I didn't mind. After all, this is a romance between two cops so of course the whole we're-going-undercover-as-lovers thing is expected. What I did not expect was to find the writing so dated and the characters so one-dim

This is my second read of this book. I loved it the first, but didn’t write a review. I wanted to write it.
Homicide Detective Mick McGraw is trying to escape his past. He is a well-respected detective and takes his job super seriously. He is known as the Iceman, because of the ice that flows through his veins. Nothing gets to him. Nothing stops him. He is the ultimate.
His current case, the Teddie Murders, is hav
Hmm, I thought I would like this better than I did, considering it's one of my favorite genres (BDSM suspense) and the great reviews. It started off really strong and hot and compelling. Went off the rails in the middle, then tried to end with a flourish that, for me, fell flat. After reading it, I'm feeling disappointment.

A lot of the heroes over-the-top antics were explained away as "trying to fool the bad guys" except those actions didn't really get him closer to finding the bad guys (who he
I originally picked up this book for the BDSM elements and because I have a bit of a literary kink for partners who are unexpectedly thrown into highly charged situations and have to work their way around their sexual attraction in order to get the job done. I have to say that this book definitely hit the nail on the head in those regards.

Mick is complicated. He projects an image of complete control at work but he's a seething mass of emotions underneath. When he drops that ice cold mask with Ca
I got this book because story line sounded interesting. Two police officers (Caroline and Mick) go undercover into the BDSM scene to find a killer. Caroline never had any interest in this life style but she agrees to go as Mick's slave. The book was ok to this point. I did not care for him treating her like a sex object at work in front of coworkers. Otherwise it was a very hot read.
This is a good book, but it has issues... or at least I had issues with the book, but there are also very strong parts of the book that I loved.

Overall the book is well written, with good character development. I did have an issue with the "brain jumping" at first and there were a couple of times I completely missed the transition. So I was reading the story from Caro's perspective only to discover that the author had jumped into Mick's mind without letting me know. I don't know if I missed the
I very much enjoyed this book. As an erotic romance it was a rousing success, and since that is my main reason for reading it - this was good! If, however, you are looking for a great murder mystery, or a police procedural, this book may be less satisfying for you.

I did enjoy the murder mystery part. It did bog down in the middle as pink herrings were being thrown every which way (they weren't quite convincing enough to be called red herrings). There may have been a tiny little surprise at the e

Wow - This book is HOT.. If your ready for a hefty dose of BDSM mixed in with the hunt for a serial killer by our hero and heroine SIS Officer Caroline Palmer and Homicide Detective Michael 'Mick' McGraw then this is the book for you..

This book was disappointing. The story was interesting in the beginning but it became hopelessly unrealistic. Caro and Mick's relationship was strange. The book has its moments, some parts were quite hot but that could not the book from being just mediocre. I am glad I got it for free.
I just couldn't enjoy this book as much as I wanted too. The hero was just creepy to me.

This book is not for the faint of heart by any stretch of the imagination. I struggled with what to rate it, because it could have used a stronger editorial hand (something you won't hear me reference often in my reviews because I don't like to make that statement, but this time it did affect my view of the book enough that I almost rated it lower so instead of rating it lower, I'm going to mention the editorial need), to help smooth out some of the rough edges and integrate some scenes a little ...more
3 Stars ~ This erotic thriller is not for the faint of heart --- not only is the sex explicit with BDSM a major play, but the murder scenes are also quite graphic.

The hero, Mick, is a homicide detective with a scary past. As a child he witnessed his mother's brutal murder at the hand of his father. After serving 25 years, his father has recently been released and now there's a series of couples murders that are particularly heinous. Heading up the task force, Mick, needs a woman to work with him

My thoughts on this book started with WOW and ended with “A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.” I hope that peaks your interest…

This was a GREAT story. I have it in e-book form but I’m going to look into getting the paper copy so I can display it on my KEEPER shelves. That’s how much I loved it. An autographed copy would be awesome wink!

I really loved this book. It took me by surprise. It had all of the elements I enjoy, a plot, a mystery, good characters, hot sex, a bit edgy, gritty, dark….defiantly not like the current run of BDSM themed books; it had something you could sink your teeth in.

The book is a gritty murder mystery, it’s the story of Mick, a seasoned homicide detective, and Caro a vice cop who wants to move into the homicide division. Together they will work undercover to solve the Teddy Murders. Couples involved in

A scorching hot, erotic suspense-thriller...

Caroline Palmer is a rookie homicide investigator on a task force to stop a serial killer. The "Teddy Killer" targets couples known to have attended a local BDSM club and to have engaged in Dominant/submissive activities. To snare the killer, Caroline and lead investigator Mick "the iceman" McGraw go undercover as a D/s couple.

Already attracted to one another, Caroline and Mick are immediately sucked into an escalating vortex of questionable

I love this story from the first page tll the very last one. Simply awesome! It has everything I enjoy- a plot, a mistery, great characters, hot edgy steamy love scence, good-written dialogs. The chemistry between Mick and Caro ist exciting, disturbing, captivating, magical! It is one of the best BDSM books I have ever read, it is one of the best erotic thrillers I have ever read! I want more from Nikita Black!!!
This book was HOT!! Even though Mick did some kind of creepy things, I'd bow down to him anytime! This wasn't hardcore BDSM. It was more sexual BDSM. If that makes sense! The suspense was so good I kept wondering "Is it him? No, it's him. Maybe it's him." I wanted to skip to the end so bad to find out who the killer was. But, I was good. I didn't do it. Good recommendation for those who like romantic suspense.

Brace yourselves ladies, this here is a rough ride.
My mother taught me to start with the positive.
The book included a full thriller, sitting right next to the erotica. That’s the reason I read the book in the first place. I’m on a quest to find erotica with a full thriller or mystery, and they are surprisingly hard to come by. Anyone knows why?
Let’s face it, ladies, a story about a girl who meets a fucked up boy and then commences to have awesome sex with him while she thinks about love and mar

Holy...WTF!!! Simply awesome. This is one of the best suspense books I've read. Seriously, I had doubts how well BDSM and suspense would work. Doubt no more. Friggin' amazing. HOT, HOT, HOT D/s that makes your toes curl and a plot that just keeps on twisting. Sweet.
Pretty intense read. Mainly because of the emotions that Mick is holding back/letting out. I definitely liked the dark and dangerous aspect and as far as Caro goes, she was fairly solid. I found her a little flippant at times, which I won't mention bc it gives some stuff away. But basically, I don't like blame games and it took her a bit to move away from that. All in all, seriously harsh emotionally, good story, good rounded characters. I gave it 3 stars because of the ending. No cliffhanger, b ...more

My review from Amazon.

After reading the sample, I put this on my wish list for a while because I usually don't like to spend much for the BDSM/erotica books I read. But the story line was so compelling, it was constantly tempting me. So glad I bought this!

It was a much darker book in many ways than I usually read. Obviously noirish because the story itself revolves around a homicide investigation that quickly turns into what seems to be serial killings. Still a bit obviously in the shadows becau
