One thing that always bugged me with Nancy Drew was the way every chapter would end in a cliffhanger, but it would be resolved on the following page. You don't hold your breath for long enough to enjoy the suspense. And since there are ten gazillion books that all follow the same pattern, you know she's not going to die, you know she's going to solve the damn mystery. Cliffhangers and suspense start to mean a whole lot less when you've read several dozen of these books. It's not bad in small dos ...more

This was totally cool. I LOVED how it was set in the National Aquarium (aka a place I love), and it was really well written.
