I believe that Cameron Dane definately knows how to write beautiful relationships. She gets to the core of her characters and brings them together with all the emotions that come with love from happiness to sadness, she conquers it all. I am so addicted to her work. With her writing it is often more than two hearts that come together it is also the meeting joining of two souls finding one another forever.

Whew!! Now that was a hot little read. I loved the build up between the men.
Adam was a punk kid that happened to try and pickpocket the wrong or is it the right guy. Rhone takes him into his security business and gives him a chance to make something of himself. Through the years Adams love for Rhone grows but Rhone continues to date women and treat Adam as his best friend.
The relationship between these two men is really wonderful to follow. There is a whole spectrum of moments from More...

THEY FOUND A HOME AND I FOUND A GREAT LITTLE M/M FIX!!!

My my my this was a sweet read I tell you. Short and precise that packed a punch.

Adam Reyes is 16 and gay, ridiculed by his family for his feelings he's sent to repent and confess to his priest hoping that would heal him of his perverse desire. Easier said than done seems these feelings are hard to get rid of and the images of hot males running through his mind can never go away. His father discovers his copy of playgi More...

A different style of story showing a bit of their lives each year. I really liked it. My heart went out to Adam as over the years he matured and dealt with his unrequited love for Rhone.

This is only my second m/m book. When I read a good erotic book I usually like to pretend the female character is me. With m/m I can't do that. However I did like this story. It was sweet and romantic.

Very hot short story about a young man named Adam with a crush on his boss Rhoan who also happens to be his best friend. He doesnt want Rhoan to find out and have it ruin their friendship.

This story is very sweet. It starts out in 1999 and progresses up to present day, so we get to see the relationship develop over time. Very easy and fun to read with some steamy sex too!

This is my second Cameron Dane and while Finding Home is not as good as Renecade, it's still better than many gay romances I've read. I wish Dane had more books out. I haven't bought her other two because they involve demons even though one of them is connected to Renecade.

Finding Home is told in short spurts for the first part so the story of Adam and Rhone covers ten years before it slows down and we come to the present. I'm not sure if I liked this even though it meant the two men More...

Adam, an underage thief thrown out by his parents for being gay, tries to pickpocket Rhone, a Security specialist. Instead of delivering him to the police, Rhone takes the thief in, gives him shelter, apprentices him, finally takes him in as partner in the security agency he and his brother lead.
We follow the thief in growing up and in developing feelings for his savior, roommate, employer. Unfortunately Rhone seems completely oblivious. When they finally get together (in Rhone's office, More...

I really liked the story. It was not some cardboard cutout story that follows any normal steamy love affair template. One issue I have is that the supporting characters are not well enough developed to be believable, in turn, it feels as if they are there to carry out a purpose without actually existing. <spoiler> i.e. when Calin calls Adam out of a meeting to help Rhone through his grief - for a grandmother we haven't heard much, if any, mention of until this point. Another, is Kasey More...

When you read a lot of books, inevitably there will be books that make a strong impression, that you love so much you read them over and over again. I have a few books like that, and one in particular is Finding Home. I have read this book countless times since it was released, and every time I talk about it or recommend it to someone I have to go back and read it again. Every time it is fresh and just as enjoyable as the last time I read it. I fell in love with the characters the very first tim More...

This was my first ever M/M story that I've ever read. I follow several blogs that read a lot of M/M books so I thought that I'd give it a shot too. I really didn't now what to expect going into it but I was pleasantly surprised.

As much as I really wanted to LOVE this story I had a little bit of a hard time with it. It wasn't the story, plot or the characters, all of which I thought were pretty strong, that I had a hard time with...It was the way it was written. That is actually w More...

Yes, Cameron Dane owns my soul! I've said it, I can now live a happy, smutty life in the throes of this unending passion.

Summary: Picking pockets and stealing cars, Adam Reyes does what he must to survive. Working Chicago's O'Hare airport, he feels pretty confident when he spots his next mark.

Security expert Rhone Quinn can't believe the wiry kid who grabs his cell phone almost gets away with it. Logic says turn the teen over to the cops, but Rhone is a man who trusts his

Rhone stops a young Adam while he is pickpocketing him. Adam is seventeen years old and an homeless; he thinks no one could be interested in him and so when Rhone, instead to bring him to the police, offers him a job, he is at first wary and then openly admiring of this man. While the years pass, Adam also falls in love with the man: Adam in fact his a gay teen thrown out of home by an homophobic father and in Rhone, and his brother Canin, he sees the family he has never had.

From the moment Rhone Quinn caught him picking his pocket and instead of reporting him offered him a job, Adam has been in love with his boss. Quinn has offered him a home, his friendship and loyalty and Adam is so afraid of losing it that he has kept his love secret for a long time. But how long can he wait for the only man he's interested in? How long can he keep his desires hidden?

As each year pass in the story I groan. There is something devilishly torturous about the UST-filled, l More...

Since I'm in a good mood, I'll give this story a 2.5 rating.

I liked the beginning. How the characters progressively got to know each other and the slow way in which romance was built (on behalf or Adam). The starting point was rather cute too, a kind-hearted guy taking a teenager under his wing. How each year was marked by something that cemented their relationship.

However, the last few pages of the book felt totally out of place. [spoiler ahead]I simply read just to be done More...

3.5 stars.

Adam Reyes picks the pocket of someone he thinks will be an easy mark, but is caught. Rhone Quinn sees something in the young Adam that stops him from calling airport security and turning him in. Instead, he offers Adam a job and a second chance. I liked this story and I liked the characters but I didn't like the way the story was told. There were also quite a few aspects to the story that just didn't flow that great.

I liked that Rhone took a chance on a dow More...

I really fell in love with this one in the first half and then it sort of...derailed for me. The characters are wonderful and their interaction in the first half (or more) of the book is perfect. There's a great build, great set up for the storyline, everything about it is great until the two heroes get together. The way they come together is... I want to say silly and it did make me laugh, but it was so unbelievable it kind of ruined it for me. Also, it's another with the "I wasn't gay un More...

This one was one was ok. The characters were likeable. My problem was the use of, what I feel to be quirky silly words for male genitailia. I hate that. It pulls me right out of the story and makes me roll my eyes and say good grief!! It doesn't always mean the story is bad, and this one was fairly good, but the corny vocab just kills it for me.

I feel so let down and disappointed in this novel, I can't stop fuming about it in my own mind. So, here I am.

Let me preface this somewhat unkind review by saying that normally, I’m of the belief that if you can’t say anything good, you shouldn’t say anything at all. Silence can speak volumes. Sometimes, however, you just have to speak up.

I’ve always been on the fence where Ms. Dane’s work is concerned. I know she’s a very popular author and has many, many fans that More...

This was a sweet story with a sort of friends to lovers theme. Cameron Dane does a good job of highlighting all the key moments in Adam and Rhone's lives which lead up to the big reveal - each forms a chapter in the book. This, however, did give it the feel of a snapshot or summary view and took away from me really getting into the story.

I like how these two are so in tune with each other - Rhone knows exactly when something is wrong with Adam and tries to be there for me. Adam knows More...

This was the second story I bought by this author, but the fourth one I read, and it's a good thing I waited until after I'd enjoyed the awesomeness of the Seeking Redemption books. While I really liked Adam and got a good sense of him, Rhone was lacking. We only got his POV a few times, but I never got any sense of him as a character. We were told a lot of things about him, rather than shown.

It was a novelette and pretty short, so I think I wished for a little more meat. Still enjo More...

I enjoyed this book and thought it was a sweet story. The majority of the book is told in an episodic way, following the men over a 10-year period beginning with when they first meet. As the book opens, Adam is a 17-year-old pickpocket who is caught by Rhone while trying to steal his phone. Rhone decides to take the boy in and give him a job at his security and investigations company. Each chapter has an event or events that show a snippet of their lives from a given year, focusing primarily o More...

continuing my day of light reading with a dash of slash. This has been on my to-read list for a while. And it's a good story. I like their friendship very much. It wouldn't hurt even if the book was longer.
Before i read this i thought this was gonna be just a slash smut with a side of plot - i was pleasantly surprised to find it otherwise. The final chapters with the resolution of the sexual tension is the pwrfect wnding to the story that has been building from the first pages.

This book started off with a hook that immediately drew me into the story and I could tell that it was going to be a very satisfying read. I wasn’t disappointed! I loved almost everything about it.

The story takes place over an extended period of time that allows us to get comfortable with the developing friendship between Rhone and Adam. I love a great underdog challenge and was so happy when Rhone went out on a limb to offer Adam a job because he just knew there was something dif More...

Very good relationship building in first half of book but then *bam* with a flip of a switch the two friends become lovers. It was abrupt and very unrealistic given the characters and had a rushed ending to top it off. The story had great potential until the couple came together and the way it was orchestrated. I have enjoyed other work by this author and will try the next book in the series but this one was a big disappointment to a story that could have been amazing.

I really wish we were able to give half stars because I would have given this a 2.5. It was a tad too crude for my taste and slightly unbelievable for me. I like my m/m romances to be firmly set in reality, something I can actually see happening. Unfortunately I've read fanfictions better than this that don't use every single possible descriptive word there is for a dick, "hot passage" and coming. Other than that, I did like the pace of the story. Short and to the point.

OMG I am so disappointed in this book. The beginning was so freaking strong and i loved reading about the unrequited love that Adam had for Rhone. But the absolutely ridiculous situation that prompted the two of them to get together had me rolling my eyes and saying WTF. Seriously??!?! Seriously????? Jeez, that just completely ruined the entire story for me.

Also, the use of the word "chute" just made me giggle.
