I've read Euripides' Medea; this is Seneca's Medea, translated by Frederick Ahl. There is a fantastic introduction by the author which gives a background on Roman theater and Seneca himself. It's easy to understand, and Ahl navigates the complex and often-confusing Greco-Roman myths well without being boring or condescending.
