So, Sadie Benning was a member of Le Tigre and this is a catalogue of her paintings and drawings and some essays (one by Eileen Myles-the filmmaker) and a conversation between her and Amy Sillman. The art is crude and childlike..outsider art..folk art..There is a section of 'sex drawings' which are nice in their ambiguity-they're sexual but you aren't exactly sure what is going on, but also a bit disturbing.
