This book is destined to make waves no matter which ocean you throw it into. This is the first book Jarod's put together, mainly because he had such a hard time figuring out how to glue the pages to the spine. You'll laugh as you explore the mind of a madman as he emails seemingly random companies and institutions about bizarre things, and strange suggestions. With his sur...more

This book is hilarious. I cry, and then I open the pages of this book and cry some more (it relieves my depression). If you like Jerry Seinfeld's Letters from a Nut series, then you're in for a treat here. In fact, it's even zanier than that. It's best indulged in piecemeal. I was reading a few passages out loud to my friend, and we were rolling all over the floor laughing, only afterwards realizing that the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in several months.

I was given this by my girlfriend. Couldn't help but laughing despite the typical male vulgarity running throughout it. When the womens socialist revolution becomes a reality, this will have to be burned.

I've been rejected by the finest creative writing program, and also the not so finest creative writing program.

The first rejection was from the University of Iowa's MFA program, possibly the best creative writing program in the universe, and the second rejection was by the University of Wyoming's MFA program--the anti number one writing program in the universe.

“This book is destined to make waves no matter which ocean you throw it into. This is the first book Jarod's put together, mainly because he had such a hard time figuring out how to glue the pages to the spine. You'll laugh as you explore the mind of a madman as he emails seemingly random companies and institutions about bizarre things, and strange suggestions. With his surreal thoughts and ideas, Jarod paints a picture so vividly in the reader's mind that they'd think he was actually using their gray matter as a canvas. But don't worry, you can read this knowing that he will not spill paint on your favorite shirt. If laughing were a buffet, you'll eat so much with this book that you'll throw up. I recommend you read this book over a toilet.” 1 person liked it
