The next book in the Kick Keswick series, this one finds Kick living her dream life, now retired as the famous Shamrock Burglar, a jewel thief. She is living in her farmhouse in Provence, married to Thomas Curtis, formerly a detective in Scotland Yard, and retired as well from that position and as the art thief known as the Good Samaritan.

Got this at the Colorado Book Awards book dinner. At the event they had give aways -- copies of books by Colorado authors.
I found a copy of Priceless on my seat and a few days later had the perfect opportunity to read it. Light hearted and fun, just long enough for a plane trip but not so serious that you need to focus, I found this a great story to read on board. Really liked her ability to tell a fun story in a fun way. Read her other books in the series.

Second in this series of Kick Keswick books.
Kick was a very successful jewel thief. In fact as the Shamrock Burglar she was the most successful in history. Being the intelligent woman that she is she quit while she was ahead. She has retired to Provence as a married woman. Married to the only person who knows her secret. He is a former Scotland Yard Commander, Thomas Curtis.

I love Kick Keswick, the main character of this series. She's glamorous, confident, skilled, unscrupulous, and entirely her own woman. I love her elegant, easy way of living and how she is rarely at a loss. The author's reasons for tearing Thomas and Kick apart at the beginning of this book is rather flimsy, but a necessary plot device and I appreciate how she didn't just make Thomas disappear for the whole book. He figured into the story, and the reader is able to hope, throughout the course of

This book revolves around a female ex-jewel thief who finds out someone stole her M.O. and made off with a huge gem. Despite being so smart as to never have gotten caught, somehow she doesn't figure out (at least in the first 1/3 of the book) that the case her ex-police detective husband hurriedly left her to solve is perhaps to exonerate her (since he knows she was a jewel thief). She is also pretentious, so I gave up.

A fast clever read, even better than the first Kick Keswick book. I loved the setting on the Italian Riviera, in Portofino, and enjoyed learning about that area. The descriptions of the jewelry, the food, the clothes, the locale were amazing. I was stumped right up to the delightful ending.

I accidently started this series out of order, but really enjoyed the adventures of Kick in "Priceless", which was great as a stand-alone book. I look forward to catching up on Kick's history in "Brilliant".

It's a rather contrived story about a retired jewel thief who has her MO ripped off. I had a hard time finishing because I really didn't care for the story or the characters.

A great beach book. Certainly not high literature, but incredible fun. Love the whole series. Nancy Drew for adults :-)

Light reading, the plot could be more developed, but the heroine & her life are so much fun, I enjoyed the whole series.

I just love living vicariously through Kick Keswick! Another great caper steeped in decadent luxury.

Another great Kick Keswick adventure. I think I'm starting to get used to Kellogg's literary MO, because I knew how the story was going to turn out before I finished. Still an enjoyable story with enjoyable characters.

Stifled, uninteresting prose with name-dropping descriptions of hotels and jewelry was a poor mock-up of an extravagant lifestyle. Boring.

What can I say? Paul went out of town and there wasn't much going on, so... Start with "Brilliant".

Another fun trifle of a mystery with lively characters and an insider's view of the glamorous life.

Another fun romp in the world of jewels, good food, great wine, and fabulous places.

Recommended on a message board. A quick, fun read over Christmas break.
