I'd read this when I was little, but I didn't really remember anything about it.*
But this is about Stephanie and Rachel, who have been best friends for basically forever. Then Stephanie starts hanging out with Alison (a new girl) and all of a sudden, they're fighting. And the girls are in middle school, so there's also a slew of first crushes and whatnot. AND there's an example of the worst parenting EVER.** It's really sweet and a good lesson about friendship being important.
There's a sequel...more

There is nothing like reading a book with a perfect reality setting. "Just as Long as We're Togetehr", was a splitting image with girls in their first year of Jr. High. Going in thinking you will have all your same friends, and everything will still be the same, tell after the first day. Not only is there more classes in Jr. High compared to Elementry, but there is more of a chance that you will not be in the same classes as your closest friends. Stephiane (the main character), figured that out...more
Wow! This book was wonderful. Do you like finding out suprises in books? Well BFF by:Judy Blume had a lot of suprising moments. What i really loved about this book is that it had 2 volumes. The first volume was from a girl Stephanie's point of view. The second volume was from a girl named Rachel's point of view.Between the 2 volumes they sometimes had common things, and sometimes had totally different things. For example:what they have in common is they both have brothers, they both have a crush...more
The situation in this story is that Stephanie starts to become more closer friends with Alison than Rachel who has been her best friend for years. Rachel starts to get jealous and later becomes best friends with someone else. If I put my self in Rachel's shoes I think I would feel jealous and upset. I would feel upset because every time I try to do something special with my best friend Alison is always in the way. I would feel jealous because Stephanie and Alison have so much in common. Also befo...more
This is an amazing collection if you a) Are a best friend, b) Have ever had a best friend, or c) Have ever been an eleven or twelve year old girl. Both stories are also available in my library as individual books.
Stephanie and Rachel are as different as different can be, and they've ALWAYS been B.F.Fs. Nothing can ever drive them apart, right?
Wrong.
When tiny, mysterious, and popular Alison moves to town, Stephanie and Rachel's friendship gets upended. IS friendship about how long you have kno...more

This book is really weird. I don't like it very much.
Another weird part about it is that the main character is in seventh grade, has braces, and has a sibling that's in fifth grade. (Sound familiar??)

These are 2 of my favorite books by Judy Blume, and I just love this binding. The book overall is very sturdy and will probably last a long time, and I love that I can have both of the books in one place.

Judy Blume spent her childhood in Elizabeth, New Jersey, making up stories inside her head. She has spent her adult years in many places doing the same thing, only now she writes her stories down on paper. Adults as well as children will recognize such Blume titles as: Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret; Blubber; Just as Long as We're Together; and the five book series about the irrepressible Fu...more
