This is one awesome book! It's perfect for the beginner gardener whether you're a child or an adult. Full of excellent tips and tricks for starting your garden. All of the fruits and vegetables featured can be grown in pots/containers so even if you don't have a small garden plot available, you'll still be able to grow everything.

Young children interested in gardening will love this book. It's very kid friendly with step by step instructions accompanied by photos. So many wonderful ideas from w

This was a handy little book considering it is technically for children. It covers some of the basic gardening information that books written for adults take for granted that the reader already knows. This book has very simple, clear how-to's for growing fruits and vegetables in a small garden or in pots, followed by simple recipes for enjoying the fruits of our labor once it matures. Vibrant, colorful ...more

This is another book that was reviewed in the May 2011 Friend magazine. What a WONDERFUL treat. I enjoyed it so much, I may need to buy the book and start doing some of the growing and cooking. :) The ideas would be fun for one's own children and/or school children.
