What pleasure it is to be able to sit down and write a review of a truly enjoyable book such as this one. Brilliant. I haven´t enjoyed a book so much in a long time. I learnt so much and the chapter on Napoleon was a real eye opener. I loved the idea of the book too. Instead of a ´he did this then he did that´biography, immersing oneself in the world that Chopin was living in was so valuable in helping to understand him a bit more. Terrific. My next read is Atwood´s other book on Chopin.
