Another great read - third in the series. In the last book we found out about Trey's family history and *what* Trey is... in this book we discover what it all means. So much is explained here. Characters are great, and this is the first of the books where gay sex (Trey is bisexual, and Michel and Gabriel are lovers) is actually written. It's done in a very beautiful way - it's not graphic or smutty or exploitative. The way it's done should not be hard for readers that are sensitive to that sort ...more

Recommends it for: Vampire-curious readers.
This is the vampire story that I have always wanted to read.
Growing up I enjoyed vampire books but there was always something lacking. This novel was what I was looking for.
Paris Immortal follows the story of Trey as he moves to Paris. He is very quickly attracted to his client Michel and his husband Gabriel. Both men are stunning, but Trey soon discovers that there is far more to them than mights the eye, or even the imagination.
This is a thoroughly enjoyable read and it left me desperate to g

Very good. The audio version by Jay Benedict isn't quite as good as in Paris Immortal. He confuses which character is talking at times, and Travis' accent wanders between vaguely Australian and upper class English. Still good though, and he voices Trey in his panicky moments very well. The story is another good one, continuing what we learned in the second book. The title is apt, as we find out more about the traumatic past of more than one character, and a certain amount of resolution is ...more

Recommends it for: Gay Vampire luvrs everywhere
Third book in this series by prolific and talented US scribbler and coiffeur, Sherry Roit, and the increasingly deadly adventures of of her hero Trey du Bois are ramped up another couple of notches as he learns more about his new employers the glamourous Parisien couple Michel and Gabriel and we in turn learn more about Trey's tormented past.
Strangely addictive, in spite of the switching first person narratives which I found a little awkward at first but am now getting used to.

Quite frankly the worst book I have read in a long time. The dialogue was clunky, the prose was badly edited (full of typos!) and the sex scenes were cringeworthy. I got bored halfway through and it went straight to the charity shop!
Or maybe I'm just not really into gay vampire porn...

So bad it's good. I had the audio version, and I don't think it translates well from reading to being read. Full review to come.

Reminded me of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles - and I mean that in the best possible way.
