While I don't think I would classify this book as a "romance", I thoroughly enjoyed it from cover to cover! This was my first foray into Jackson's work, but I will definitely look for others!
When the first page drops you into a cold, damp coffin with a woman being buried alive....I tell ya, THAT'S my kind of book! Kept me glued to the pages from first to last! (I surmised the killer wrong not once, but twice!)

I liked this one so much better then The Night Before. I still think she puts in way too much detail, but this one seemed to be better in that area as well. I would have preferred more romance, there practically wasn't any at all in this book, but the mystery was good. I wish she would write another sequel to the Savannah series just so the readers can know what happens with Reed.

Savannah is experiencing the horror of a serial killer who is burying victims alive in coffins that are already occupied. The killer is sending clues to an agressive want to be crime reporter and a hard nosed cop, who has ties to one of the victims. Though they don't want to cooperate will they figure it out before more killings occur, and one of the victims could be them.
Quick read, held my attention. I enjoyed the Savannah location. I like to read stories that are set in a place I have ...more

Wow intense and a bit creepy. I got to the last chapter before I really had a solid idea of who was the "criminal". Very good.

This book was pretty good. Although not as good as some of her others.

I thought this was one of the better Lisa Jackson books. It kept me guessing 'who dun it' right up to the end, and that is a rare treat for me, as I usually always figure out the killer midway through a mystery. Rather gruesome subject matter though---being buried alive. Not a spoiler. This is stated right upfront on the book jacket.

A great crime fiction that puts you in the mind of all the characters and will literally scare you out of the grave, as you feel the fear of the victim realizing that they are buried alive.

A edge gripping mystery that will keep you guessing and make you wonder will they ever catch him all at the same time. If you love the hunt as much as the catch you'll love this book.
