Picked it up on a large second hand book market, mezmerised somehow by the cover. The impact of this girl from Petrovka remains, even though most of the what the book was about is gone from my mind. This book is aslo one of the first stories I read written by a journalist, a favourite kind of writer... even if you don't get all the politics. I would like to read this book again.
