I will agree with readers that say it reminded them very much of My Sister's Keeper. I thought that Picoult did a nice job of developing Amelia's character and perspective. This was the first Jodi Picoult book where I really struggled to finish it. I found it very repetitive & much too similar to My Sister's Keeper - just a different disease.
