Collection of articles about discredited ideas and scientific impossibilities and contemporary non-scientific beliefs: E.g, perpetual motion (in many guises, any violation of laws of thermodynamics); creationism; flat earth, etc. Generally accurate in what if covers. A bit repetitive, since it's a collection of articles covering the same or similar topics from slightly different perspectives.

A facinating overview of a few pseudo scientists worlds.

something to watch out for in the book is that it is a collection of different things that were together, making this an interesting if disjointed experience.

Especially interesting was his interview with Velikovsky. Hearing how someone defends their work can be very telling in determining what might really be going on.
