This is one of the most fascinating books I’ve read in a long time. It’s interesting, packed with information and laid out in an appealing format. Perhaps best described as a concise, visual introduction to the major conflicts around the world, it’s kind of like a picture book for adults (but the subject matter is very grown-up).
