No one gives a better "everyman's" translation of the Gita. I have read many, many translations and find Eknath Easwarn's versions ever-fresh.

I read this book less than a year ago, and I already almost completely forgot most of it, but I'm pretty sure it changed my life. I remember that it was like I could feel reality shifting just a little as I turned each page. It would probably be a worthwhile book to read again and again, at least until I can remember what it was about.

makes you feel like you can do anything. but also makes you feel stupid for not realizing these things on your own

Drew and I read this most mornings. It's a great way to start the day.
