A beautiful, practical, easy-to-use book. Descriptive, useful botanical information on 20 common culinary herbs; good, basic information on planting and harvesting; over 150 recipes, including herb vinegars and herb butters. Recipes are mostly of a "Southwest" genre, with suggested menus and recipes from several renowned Southwestern chefs. A good, basic reference book for the herb gardener as well.
