I liked the father's politics and I liked the son's religious denomination (my own, the Unitarian Universalist one). This bio was actually part auto-bio. He, Forrest the son & author & minister, chronologically meshed parts of his own life right into the political and familial scenes of his father Frank. I don't think I have ever read a book constructed quite like this. You gotta respect the honest writing (page 125):
