Mary Wolmack has lost her job, her dignity, and the key to her apartment. Cursed with being a "fat chick," she can't believe the hunk across the hall is interested in her. When he announces he's an alien prince whose people honor women of size, she realizes she's lost one more thing-her mind. The hero isn't from here. He isn't even from this planet. He is very important on his planet and is Oracle sent him to earth to get his bride. The lovely heroine has things hard. At the end of a very bad day of losing her job and worse, he helps her out when she is locked out of her apartment. He is a bit frustrated with the slow courtship (he is finally getting to talk to her after two whole weeks!), so he move fast to make her his.
The heroine doesn't believe him when he says he is from another

Ok, I just pick up this one cause in the blurb they say the heroine was fat chick and the hero was a gorgeous alien who wants a mate of size... so maybe it seems to me that I can identify myself (too bad there aren't aliens near my home...)

Mary is a human girl who has no string attachment to the earth: no parents, no friends, and from today no work. So when she returns home and Matt, the gorgeous neighboor, six and half feet tall and well built asks nothing unless to love her, why she has to say

This story is so silly I should have hated it. However, it truly was a guilty pleasure. Not quite as good as chocolate..... guess that's the curvy girl in me ;-)

Mary comes home after being laid off from her job and completely gives up hope when her key breaks in the lock after a string of unfortunate events. Her gorgeous neighbor comes over and offers to help, and much to Mary’s stunned surprise, begins to beg her to allow him to help her because she is his soul mate…

Another great short story just reading the blurb was enough for me, what woman down on her luck with no job wouldn't want to find her soul mate right at her door!! Although shorter then I usually like in novellas it was entertaining and contained some great funny elements to go with the sexy steamy moments... Where can I find a sexy alien to sweep me off to another world....

Very quick read. I would give it a 2.5 because it's just a bit too flippant to be really hot or sweet but it's not awful either.
There are a few mangled sentences, such as this..."Tek laughed as he helped off Mary his lap." but that one I grinned at because with some interesting punctuation it could have a different meaning then its intended "Tek laughed as he helped Mary off his lap".
Lady Raven RAVE!
This book was ok for me I liked it but it didnt WOW me for a novella. Matt/Tek he was a sweet heart, Mary was having a really bad day and her comes her neighbor who she thinks is crazy. The book is not bad still take a chance and read it
