Bradbury fans?
I haven't read much of Bradbury's work as an adult. I vaguely remember reading The Illustrated Man in junior high, but that's about it.
This book - a book of Bradbury's later short stories - was a bit of a challenge for me. I thought the stories were, for the most part, fantastic. But I didn't enjoy the writing style at all.

This is one of Bradbury's most recent collections of short stories, and although his language is still as vivid as ever, it lacks some of the "I'm writing three short stories a week to support my family" passion that his older stories had. I enjoyed it, and look forward to going through it again eventually, but I wouldn't recommend starting to read Bradbury with this one.

Not being the hugest of science fiction fan, I think I have passed over Ray Bradbury unfairly over the years.
He was written in such a variety of genres and for so long, he has a ton of stuff out there.
I particularly loved the first story in this book. Though I admit to skipping a couple throughout, but I think that is just fine for a short story book!

Again, Ray Bradbury has managed to capture my attention and my heart with his story-telling. There are no more words for how much I love his work. Reading Bradbury always makes me a little melancholy, frightened and nostalgic. It's hard to explain. Regardless, anyone unaware of his genius should give it a shot.

I'm a big Bradbury fan, but a lot of these stories stop before they start and lack that Bradbury magic. Still, it's Bradbury, so there's always something to like.

Loved the way Badbury writes, love his imagery, metaphors, etc. But, wasn't too thrilled with the characters and story line in this book.

I enjoy Bradbury's science fiction/fantasy tales better, but this collection of short stories is pretty solid.

Got 1/4 of the way through it, and I was bored. Back to the library with you!
