I love this book. Mr. Pusskins is a grumpy cat who thinks his owner (a little girl) is annoying and stifling. So he runs away only to find the grass isn't always greener. So what if the story is predictable? The pictures are fantastic (just look at the title character on the cover as an example) and I really felt like I knew this cat by the end (In fact, he kind of reminded me of my own late great kitty so that may also be why I liked it so much). There is apparently a sequel, so I'm not th...more

Mr Pusskin's face says it all: a cross-looking orange cat with plenty o' plumpness next to a cute pink heart blazened, "a love story". It is the story of the prodigal kitty returned... or is it? Just when he thinks things are turning to his favor, everything changes. Find out in this hair raising story of rebellion and coming to grips with one's own reality on personal quest for happiness.

An adorable story of the relationship between a grump of a cat and the little girl who dotes on him with a real moral about appreciating and being thankful for what you have. The artwork is gorgeous. And, Mr. Pusskins reminds me so much of my own kitty, right down to the orange fur, that I couldn't help but feel a little tingle in my heart while reading.

Mr. Pusskins is a mean, grouchy cat who hates all the icky attention that his owner lavishes on him. So one day he runs away to become the tough alley cat he knows he really is. But Mr. Pusskins discovers that life on the streets isn't as glamorous as he thought and all he wants is to go back home!

The tone of this tale is pitch perfect; I even got a little choked up. Contains universal truths about love, told through the eyes of a pussycat who doesn't know how much his little girl means to him until it's too late.. Or is it?
Also this was a great success during 'Sleepytime Storytime'.

Just look at the cover of this book. What a funny picture. The inside is funny too, but like it says, it's a love story. I read these books to my daughter and her friend. The friend said, "Can you read them both again?"

A funny tale of a very grumpy cat who realizes the values of a safe and happy home. A fun book to read aloud pretending to be both the sappy Emily and the grumpy (and then repentant) Mr. Pusskins.

Oh, sweet Mr. Pusskins. His owner loves him so, but he decides to escape the utter boredom of life with his owner. Will life on the street be as cool as Pusskins thinks? Of course not.

Mr Pusskins is a very grumpy cat, who dislikes being fussed over by his girl, but soon learns that the wide world is a scary place.

Great illustrations, and a very cute grumpy cat.

This cute book takes all of 1 minute to "read" (it's a picture book) but is guaranteed to make you smile. The ultimate "prodigal cat" story, and the pictures are hilarious.

I read this to Kindergarten, thinking they would enjoy it, and realized that I didn't even like it very much. Plus, I got real tired of saying the word "Pusskins."
