cheesy-romance-novel

Another cheesy romance; reckless younger daughter falls in love with the guy who "disgraced" (but not "ruined," ie, none of the sex) her older sister, and then they have to solve some kind of mystery? Conventional as always, but still pretty entertaining.
Lydia sighed. "Somehow I cannot believe any good will come of this strange notion that men and women should talk to each other about such intimate matters. RECKLESS - VG
Quick, Amanda - standalone
Certain that Gabriel Banner, a man she admired when she was a child, can carry out an important quest for her, Phoebe Layton lures him to a midnight rendezvous and finds he is nothing like the hero of her dreams.
Old books and an independent woman. This was a very good read.

Phoebe is a little on the idealistic side but I like this book anyway. This, as are all Jayne Ann Krentz books, is an annual re-read.
