Read in November, 2008
As usual, great characters and dialogue and a good plot. Augusta Ballinger is an impetuous young lady of the ton. The Earl of Graystone is a solemn widower looking for a second wife and a mother for his 9-year old daughter, Meredith. Ms. Krentz loves the "opposites attract" theory and certainly makes it work in this book. There are two minor romances among the supporting characters, so this is really a 3-for-1.

Can't remember a darned thing about it. Was this the one where the shy heroine tames the mysterious, brooding aristocrat or the one where the impetuous heroine shakes up the coolly reserved aristocrat....

The heroine does bring up her family name and traits in her defense entirely too often (as her husband points out often), but over all a good book.
