This is a fun romp through time and classical music. It skillfully combines the sublime and the ridiculous in ways that allow discussion about religion while a character commits suicide through inhaling 17 miniature thimbles. There are quite a few anachronisms (surely inevitable in a book about time-travel) but stick with it, history sticklers! It all comes right in the end!
