Since Chase Falladay came to her rescue two years ago, Kia Stanton has never been able to forget the powerful man or the kind of life he leads. However, little prepares her for what it is like to be in Chase’s arms, and in his bed....more

Jan 09, 2009 Auntee rated it 4 of 5 stars Recommends it for: Fans of erotic romance that includes menage scenes
This was probably one of the better ones in the 'Bound Hearts' series by Lora Leigh. The 'Bound Hearts' series all feature men who belong to a secret, exclusive D.C. area club where all the members are dedicated to pleasuring their women, most often by engaging in menage relationships (m/f/m). There's no question it was a steamy hot, hot read, (sex in a limo, sex on the hood of a car, menage scenes...) and it didn't get TOO bogged down by either the hero or heroine's anguish over the state of th...more

Hmmm, four stars or five? Five for the sex, and four for Chase's inability to 'let go' of his past? "Only Pleasure" is the next book in Lora Leigh's 'Bound' series and is the story of the brother of the hero from her last book "Wicked Pleasure". If you want more of the backstory, check out my review of WP.

Kia has wanted Chase for longer than she wants to acknowledge...even before her messy divorce. But she would never have cheated, it's just not in her nature. So when Chase is the man who asks f...more

I'm going to be one of the few people who didn't absolutely love this book or think it was one of the best of the series. I found it rather average. Most of the things that bugged me, though, were more series-related than specific problems with this book

Only Pleasure is the tenth book in the Bound Hearts series which is about men who take pleasure in sharing their women with a third. You can probably read this one without reading the series backlist, but I would definitely recommend reading the...more

Two years ago, Kia almost destroyed the club by revealing its secret to an untrustworthy friend. She promised Chase that she would undo the harm she had caused, and she did--by retracting her story about a horrible experience with her ex-husband and another club member. Now, Kia is withdrawn and unhappy. She must learn to trust herself and others again in order to be happy.

Chase has held back from Kia. In the past, he was the tender, comforting third in his brother's relationships. Now, he feels...more

This book was pretty typical of Lora Leigh's other "Bound Hearts" books--smokin' hot sex scenes, lots of MFM, a strong, yet vulnerable damsel in distress, an uber-alpha, emotionally stunted male. I love Lora Leigh, but often have to seriously suspend my disbelief (which as a huge paranormal romance fan, I obviously have no problem doing) when it comes to some of her plot contrivances. This book, however, actually had a fairly believable plot and a villain that didn't come from the Austin Powers/...more

WOW! What an awesome novel! Be warned. This novel is like Part 2 of the story of the Falladay twins, two yummy Uber-Alpha men, Chase and Cam. Tall, gorgeous bods, long black hair. You’ve got the picture, right? YOWZA!

“Wicked Pleasure” is like Part 1 and tells the story of Cam and how he overcame the demons from his abusive childhood to love Jaci.

Chase was always the happier brother. But at the end of “Wicked Pleasure” more demons are added to Chase’s life, and this sets the scene for “Only Pleas...more

Only pleasure by Lora Leigh is equal parts hot, steamy sex and romantic suspense. Get a tall, cold glass of water ready and a box of tissues because this romance will have you needing both.

Kia Rutherford-Stanton is a beloved daughter and nearly a rape victim courtesy of her ex-husband and another man he invited into their bedroom. Fortunately, the rape does not happen thanks to the third man that distracts her husband long enough for Kia to run into the bathroom. Her father arrives just in time...more

Let me start by saying I have nothing at all against porn. It is generally not my cup of tea, but I don't find it offensive and I think its great if others enjoy it. Erotica, unlike porn, needs to have character development and a story that exists to do more than string together sex acts. That story can be frankly sexual, but it needs to be more too. In Only Pleasure there is no story at all. Two pretty vacant people, neither possessing a sense of humor, dress up, go to parties separately. They...more

So I finally got around to reading this the 10th installment in the bound hearts series. Let let me just say off the bat that is was the most insipid read I have tried to stomach in a long while. It was repetitive and lackluster and that's putting it mildly. Chase the witless hero and Kia the reformed doormat heroine they trip, stumble and engage in some of the most unkinky sex 3 people can have. Still they manage to fall in-love regardless of the fact that he disregards her and treats her like...more

I generally like Lora Leigh, but I could barely stomach this book. I had to force myself to finish it. I didn't like Chase, I barely liked the chic, (see I can't even remember her name, it was that bad) If I had to read about one more "I can see into her soul, because I'm buttsmexing her..." I mean really? Seriously? While they are having a threesome with Kahlid, (she is taking two at once, um OUCH) Kahlid is whispering to her how Chase must love her b/c he is going sans condom... up the arse. O...more

As usual with a Lora Leigh book, one is guaranteed the hottest, steamiest, and amazing sex. She writes with such clarity and puts emotion in the act (including the threesome), that the need to have a third is justified, and it doesn't smack porn.

The story was intense and emotional, I didn't give this a five because I somehow felt heavy while reading it, especially when Kia struggles to hold her head up high even while she's hurting. It's visible how she got over everything, her resilience is re...more

A sensual and engaging read indeed, not for the faint hearted as
there is quite a bit of menage and eye watering sexual acts which
can be a little shocking if you are not broad minded.
In saying that you get the idea that the characters are intensely
real in their feelings for one another and nothing is done that is
not consenual apart from how this story started but I won't add the
spoiler and indeed the set up for the continuation of how the
characters pasts become entwined with their futures.

It was fun and sexy and Chase is pretty hot. Just a few questions.

What is a 'support group for men who enjoy a certain lifestyle?' I just keep imagining a group of these men sitting around in a dark room giving out their number just in case one of the thirds starts getting the urge to get a little too close to another man's woman.

Also, all these guys knew each other growing up and were introduced by the "lifestyle" by their fathers. How could the whole town not know?

I would love to be a fly on...more

This is Chase Falladay's book. I think that he is my second favorite alpha male in this series. I mean there are a lot of wonderful number of hot males but several stand out as the absolutely the most wonderful. Chase is also a torture male that I have a weak spot for. I felt so bad that he had to shoot Moriah in Cam's book. That shooting really did effect him more than he let anyone know. Both of these men have had such a very bad life that they deserve a happy ending. I also like that Chase fi...more

I am new to the genre, so I may be too lenient or too critical. Having prefaced my knowledge of the genre, let me proceed.

I was intrigued and interested in the premise of the "club" and the very hot and often atypical sex scenes in this novel. I picked it up not knowing that it was number 10 in a series. Although my interest was often peaked by references to past events or characters, it didn't detract from the flow of the story.

The characters were a little too stereotyped, but the plot itself w...more

Kia and Chase have had an attraction for years. Not that either acted on it. Kia then married Stanton, also a member of The Club. She had no idea it was a menage club and for a couple of years she remained unaware, until the night her husband invited a third and attempted to rape her to get her way. Divorce ensued and Kia of course fell apart.

It fell to Chase, as the Club's security enforcer, to keep Kia from letting out all the Club's dark secrets.

Five years later Chase and Kia are thrown toget...more

This book was really part two of the Falladay twins quest for love and family. It wasn't bad but after reading book one it seemed that the twins had reversed personalities. In Wicked Pleasure, Chase was the carefree, fun-loving twin while Cameron was the broody one with a darkness inside him. Now, from the very beginning of this book Chase is dark and brooding - all of that carefree and mischevious nature gone in an instant. If it wasn't for the fact that each sentence stated it was Chase I woul...more

Overall this was not my favorite read, but I didn't expect the emotional ending. I couldn't put it down towards the end. It was tough starting my adventures with this series towards the end of it, so many folks made an appearance, folks who's stories readers would know...but I didn't, so those characters came off as flat, fake and sort of suspicious. Chase was kind of a jerk. Didn't really like him and didn't ever really come to understand his "darkness". And what the heck was that part about wh...more

While in real life, I would have no interest in a m/m/f relationship, it's hot to read about and fantasize a little. Two men, fawning over you, both making you feel desired, beautiful, and wanted? Hmmm...
That being said, the story wasn't actually half-bad. There's lots of steamy sex scenes, but there actually is a story. The two are blended almost seamlessly together.
My only problem is that I came in to the middle of a series (which I had no idea when I picked up the book at Goodwill), so, espec...more

Another smoking hot book by LL. Geez can she write some swoon worthy love scenes. Be sure to have a tub of ice water ready after you read this one.
Chase was a little too brooding and commitment phobe for me. I got sick of his let's have sex but I won't spend the night, call you or ever take you out to dinner attitude because I'll fall in love with you. COME ON, GROW A PAIR. I did like Kia. I thought she was smart and strong and would call Chase on his treatment of her. Chase did redeem himself b...more

Reading this book and am of "several minds" about it. First why would these women want to be part of a threesome, that some bunch of men , immature men, have started? And if taking it up the butt is so great why aren't the men taking it up theirs? Why would a man who actually cared about a woman, much less loved her want another man to be sexually involved with her while he was. Strikes me that these men are sexually, emotionally, physically inadequate because otherwise they would not feel the n...more

Read this quite a few years ago & loved it! So, I thought I'd do a quick re-read :) I just love when the woman is more "normal" or "real" seeming? HAHA does that even make sense? LOL..Well, more like someone you wouldn't mind being friends with, unlike the always whining crying poor me's or the "my shi* don't stink" & "I'm so far above you in social stat-ices of the world" my friends will call the white suits & call me crazy for being with you so expect to be flayed my man...more

5 stars, one of my favorites of this series

...So good, so wicked, so erotic (Khalid, wink wink), so hot... did I mentioned hot???

That said, what a great plot for ER! The suspense and mystery had me on edge the whole time. Chase Falladay's character developed from his twin's story in the previous book, and only got better as he faced his darkness v's his feeling for Kia. Khalid, as his third, added more depth and plenty of action to the storyline. It was easy to admire the camaraderie when one of...more

Wicked Pleasure & Only Pleasure
These two books are companion pieces and should be read in order or you'll be having several "huh?" moments with the plot. Excellent reads: suspenseful action, likable characters [it's so much fun to watch the heroes try to avoid 'commitment' - when they are already committed body and soul:] and definitely hot sex scenes.

You do no have to read the other books before these - the characters do make appearances and it would enrich your reading to know their backgr...more

I picked this up one day roaming through Barnes and Noble. Didn't realize I was reading book ten out of a series though. I don't usually pick up this kind of book, but it was interesting story. I didn't have any of the back story of the other characters in this story but I am curious as to reading them now. Chase has been aware of Kia, as she has been of him. He belongs to an exclusive club where only members know what goes on. Members belong to this sex club where menages are the norm. Kia know...more

Two years after an emotionally draining divorce, Kia Rutherford reconnects with Chase Falladay. Dark, dangerous and a member of a secret club with exotic tastes, Chase offers Kia pleasure but cannot surrender his heart. Kia soon finds herself tangled in Chase's web and can't resist falling for Chase. Will Chase realize his true feelings for Kia before a series of attacks by an unknown person turns deadly? Engaging, erotic and extremely sensual, this book was stronger than 'Wicked Pleasure.' Stro...more

One of the better books in the series, definitely better than the few previous ones. The start is a bit abrupt, but you soon get over it as the story develops.

We finally get a bit more emotion in the bound heart series and you can´t help but feel sorry for all Kia has been through. Her pain, her loneliness, you really want her to get the man she wants.

Chase is a bit of a hard headed stubborn man, and it takes him quite some time to realize what everyone else already knows.

The twist in the story...more

Tenth in the Bound Hearts erotica series revolving around a very exclusive men's club in Washington D.C. A club which specializes in giving a woman the ultimate in pleasure.

The Story
Despite the deal, Drew Stanton is continuing to harass his ex-wife. He wants her back in his life and for Chase Falladay to stay out of hers. And that just won't work for Chase. He owes her. He wants her. But never without a third.

The Characters

If you loved "Wicked Pleasure" with Jaci and Cam you are gonna love "Only Pleasure" with Kia and Chase. I ADORED this book. I have read it twice, back to back because I read it so fast the first time. I was turning the pages so fast I couldn't get enough.

I love the Falladay brother's stories. I loved the woman in the stories. Such awesome reads and lets face it, the sex/love making was hot hot hot and the stories lines were awesome. Can't really go wrong with Lora Leigh and once again these two...more

This is one very generous star.

Kia Rutherford has spent the last two years hiding. She's hiding from her ex-husband Drew Stanton, who tried to force her into a ménage à trois with another man, a "third" from an exclusive club of men who enjoy sharing women. She's hiding from her old friends who spread the story of this secret club, which brought Chase Falladay to her doorstep, making a deal with her to retract the story. And she's hiding from Chase himself, the one man she's always wanted but co...more

Lora Leigh lives in the rolling hills of Kentucky, often found absorbing the ambience of this peaceful setting. She dreams in bright, vivid images of the characters intent on taking over her writing life, and fights a constant battle to put them on the hard drive of her computer before they can disappear as fast as they appeared. Lora’s family, and her writing life co-exist, if not in harmony, in...more
