It is complete it has many interesting stories about the inspirations for each song lyrics, my favorite one will always be Dear Prudence who found herself stuck with the habit of meditation, so they wrote about it in this transcending experience they were living towards religion so this girl could come back to reality because meditation is supposed to help but it is not supposed to be an addiction. I'm surprised to see how high this book's rating is. I'm giving it two stars not because I think the lyrics themselves are bad, but because this book is terribly disorganized. First of all, you should know that many of The Beatles' songs don't appear in this book. Second of all, the songs that do appear don't appear in any particular order. They seem to appear in the order of their albums, but some songs inexplicably appear in the sections that mostly contain songs of other albums. They also don ...more
Just a wonderful collection of the Beatles lyrics, organized by release date and with the primary singer noted. There are some terrific photos too. Having the lyrics in hand while listening to Beatles music simply makes the experience richer and admiration for their songwriting talent grander.
