Excellent book manages to capture dignity, grace, and piognancy of John Henry tale. Imagery elevates book to high level of spiritual strength. Haunting, beautiful tale that captures theme of hope admist loss. Rainbow imagery powerful.

One of our favorite tall tale books. It is worth reading. Really strong men would enjoy this book.
