Christine Kenneally's take on how we've finally begin to explore the evolution of language is well written and well researched. In essence, she tells the story of how researchers overcame the long standing closed mindedness in and around the study of language and how it emerged. Ironically Kenneally inadvertently promotes this same closed mindedness by assuming and blatantly promoting her opinion that evolution is only source of language.
