Written by a sailor in the Nelsonic Navy, who volunteered for service in the early 19th century - a time when most ordinary seamen were not literate. This gives you a rare glimpse of history from a viewpoint not often seen, and is interesting and humorous to boot. I thoroughly enjoyed it - a fascinating read.
