Point Blank is the second installment in the Starfirst:Force Recon series by David Sherman and Dan Cragg. Like its predecessor, it follows the intelligence gathering and commando strike mission of the Marine Recon unit of the elite 34th FIST (Fleet Initial Strike Team).

This book definately falls into the 'does what it says on the tin' category: it's an action combat mil-fic book that will appeal to fans of the genre (like me) but not to others.

While I enjoyed this book, it was more of a standar
