The idea had been around for a while, in various - genuine, not cartoon - forms, one supposes. At any rate various people developed it according to their best capacities of conception and perception. I am about to finish this book but I thought that I had so much to say, so decided to write a review. It's a coincidence that I am discovering GBS after reading Nietzsche, as it's clear that GBS was greatly marked by Nietzsche's works in developing his characters.
