This is the very first wedding planning guide I read, and it was a straightforward introduction to planning. While you could certainly plan your wedding using only this guide, most people will want to use another as well. One great thing about this book is that there are corresponding online lists that you can download and print for use while planning, such as budget guides, etc.

Probably the best wedding book I've read yet. The format is excellent, nothing overwhelming. The pictures are lovely. I especially like the page at the end of each chapter devoted to a real couple and their wedding. The bigger wedding manuals are probably still handy to help fill out the details, but this book is a very elegant guide, and an enjoyable read.
