This is an amazing book that should be required reading for business school students. The author invested his father's life savings in a typesetting company that in short order imploded in spectacular fashion. While he was preparing his business projections and excel spreadsheets and powerpoint deal books that neatly computed how rich he was going to become, he never considered the facts that his partner was an alcoholic and his employees were a bunch of old ladies in Iowa wearing "world'...more

Read in February, 2008
Compelling story that I found tough to put down; however, I'll agree with other reviewers who've felt that the industry-specific details detracted at times. I'd like to have given 3.5 stars.
