During her junior year in California, everything is about to change. Haley, one of the main characters, used to live in a life filled with mystery. Now, it's going to change because of the secret(s) that are about to be exposed. It'll change the thoughts of how the boys in school look at her. Besides Haley's secret, other characters have things going in their lives, too. Annie

This is the third book that I've read from the What If series, and also my third book I have read from the choose your own destiny genre. This series is so interesting because you basically choose how you want the story to turn out. Also, there are two authors who wrote the series because one author wrote one side of the book and the other author wrote the other side. Basically in the book at the end of every chapter the author tells you two options, one being "turn to page 122 to send Haley to ...more

What If... Your Past Came Back to Haunt You was unstoppably great!

The cover of this one looks really fun. Adding a photo of a tutu and a tube, it seems as a summer novel, but this is actually taking place in the fall-winter season.

Of course, the plot was different, it depends on what you choose for Haley to do. I decided that I'd stick her with Reese, Sasha, Whitney, and Johnny. I think I'd like them to be my friends. Sara and Liz did a job well done on this plot. When Haley's past comes

There are two good things about this series. One is the originality. I've never read another series where you get to pick what happens. Another is how quick the books are to read.

Those two things are the only reason I continue reading these books. There are inconsistencies that bug me. Like how I was reading a chapter involving Haley, Mia, Sasha, and Whitney and I chose the option of going to a party together in the next chapter. Only Mia was suddenly replaced with Cecily, a girl I don't even re

I like this book, only because of the character Reese and some of the outcomes. The main character I find very annoying and unrealistic. I mean, I understand girls love boys and several of them, but the odds that every boy she's crushing on shows interest in her is very highly unlikely. I love the character Reese, he's very down to earth and athletic, the fact that she can also help one of her classmates is very awesome. Every other outcome is stupid in my opinion. It's a book, i'll keep to read ...more

This book isn't like any other books because this book lets you choose what will happen next. It's not like the normal books where you just read and figure out what happens, it is like you make your own story. For example on pg.73 it says if you want this to happen go to page 122 or if you want this to happen go to 106, and etc. This book is very interesting and I recommend this book for all people.

This book was really good! It was the last in the series of "What If..." books. The nice thing about this series, is that you dont have to read the books in order.

With the many different story lines, this book is one of the most entertaining books I have ever read. Would definitely recommend.
