This novel is
crime story set in Atlanta with a flashback to North Carolina and side trips to Saint Simons and New Orleans.
good guys: FBI and APD.
bad guy: a serial rapist/murderer.
sleuth/victim: a lady FBI agent.
plot: highly convoluted (a praise).
movie-worthy rating: high (Hollywood would do the scenes where the bad guy does his thing with the victim).
movie-made-for-TV rating: the scenes with the victims would be skipped.
dialog: weak
