Sort of a throw-away story from Mary Kay Andrews. Not as funny as her longer novels, and there's not enough interest in the thin 'mystery'. It was better than a kick in the teeth, but disappointing.

Only disappointing because I expect a lot after how I enjoyed Hissy Fit and Savannah Blues.

This book truly danced right up to the ridiculous line and just sort of hovered there. It's fine as pure Christmas fluff - maybe I shouldn't have read it in June.

This book reunites the characters from Savannah Blues and Breeze -Weezy and BeBe. It was a funny story surrounding the Christmas season. I love Christmas stories, and when the characters seem like old friends it is even better!

Connected with old friends from Savannah Breeze in this light, fun, and festive read. A bit predictable but a good read none the less. A happy ending and a happy Christmas. It really put in the holiday spirit.

I didn't get far into this book, but after about 20 pages, I could tell that this book is one that doesn't appeal to me.

If you've not yet discovered Mary Kay Andrews you really need to pick-up this book. This is the third book in her Savannah series and they are so much fun. Sort of a southern Stephanie Plum (a series by Janet Evanovich). They all contain a mystery of some sort, but that is definitely second to the humor in the books. I've recommended Andrews' books to a wide variety of people and everyone always loves them. Blue Christmas is good, but I'd start with Itty Bitty Lies, one of her stand-alone ti...more

Antique shop owner Weezie Foley goes all out to win the Savannah holiday decorating contest only to find her display ruined the night before the judging. Suspecting a rival shop and feeling blue, she decides to re-do the display with an Elvis "Blue Christmas" theme.

A funny, upbeat holiday story with Be-Be and Weezie--characters from Andrews' other books. Highly recommend.

Take one Savannah, Georgia antique shop owner, her wayward dog, an evil gay couple who own the completing antique shop across the street, a grinch boyfriend, and a minor mystery, mix them all up with a bit of liquor and a whole lot of kitch and you get this book. Have fun! Not the smartest book out there, but worth the read.

This was a cute little story for the holidays. It was a little predicitable and I was not so sure about the endning. I thought it could have gone on. I have not read any other books by Mary Kay Andrews so I don't know if the characters are a continuation or not. But it was a nice Christmas story.

This was a funny book and a laugh out loud close to the end. A feel good store which most Christmas books are but most have a twist with someone either having lost someone or someone passing. This is a finding someone and finding love and how to have a Blue Christmas without being blue.

Sweet read about a store owner and a Christmas window decorating contest. Has all the usual Andrews fun stuff including another dog who is a character all his own. This one has a particularyly good mystery as well. Makes me want to go to Savannah, GA this Christmas.

Great book and an easy read! I love the story of Weezie and Daniel. The only thing I would have liked is more info on Bebe and Harry, but maybe in her next book??? I would love another book with all four of these characters (and Manny & Cookie - what a hoot!).

Love to read Christmas themed books during the holidays. The main character in this book is quirky, creative and fun! She owns an antique/collectibles shop and is trying to win the city's window decorating contest. She ends up with a better prize than a 1st place ribbon.

My mom gave me this book to read on my plane ride back from California. It's a fun holiday piece of fluff written by a former AJC journalist. I love fun books based in the South, and this book's setting (Christmas in Savannah) is about as Southern as you can get!

her 'big' books are much better however THIS one stacks up as a quickie as one of the better ones in my opinion.
i would definatly recommend it for those who love weezie!
its a 'feel good' story for the holiday so pick it up and enjoy!

It was a bit disappointing since I had expected something along the lines of Little Bitty Lies, but it felt flat at times. And you knew the ending about 1/4th way through the book. I love reading about Savannah, but I'd pass on this one.

Even though it was nowhere near as good as Savannah Blues I really enjoyed this book. Weezie is quickly turning into one of my favorite literary characters and I love reading about her and her crazy family.

I had a ball reading this Mary Kay Andrews book. This one was full of everything Southern even Elvis! If you didn't try some of her recipes included at the end of the book, you missed a treat!
