Wasn't sure I'd like it at all. To be honest, I was desperate for a book that would take awhile to read (I knew I was going to have some down-time). SO, I found a "fat" book on the shelf and ran with it.
You look at the cover and it looks like a smutty romance but it's actually a story of three girls (starting at around age 11 and going until age 30 maybe?). It's a story of how their lives evolve and take them to different areas of the world – think vast deserts at one point, ...more

There is nothing quite like a trashy British novel that spans several decades and includes plenty of drama, sex, and intrigue! This is a great beach book.
