Wicked book. Came out the year I started a rock paper scissors society at uni. The tournament rules I put together was based on work similar to this.

At first, I thought this was just a fun parody of chess books. Then I thought it spoofed both chess and cycling books. Now I think it teases the entire idea of book-based sports instruction; yet it looks seriously at the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, as interpreted by the [apparently genuine:] World RPS Society.
