I liked this second book in this series but not quite as much as the first. It definetly is a compelling story and the characters are well developed. Another great thing about this book is that it gives you a peek inside yet another arm of our country's special ops. In this book you look at the Airforce arm rather than the Navy arm in the first book. Until I read this book I didn't even know such a job existed in teh Air Force. I would recommend this book.

While not as good as the first book in the Uncommon Heroes series, I still enjoyed the story of the developing relationship between Grace and Bruce. I liked how the Christian tones didn't knock you over the head, but were a seamless part of the story. You could really believe the strength of the faith of these two, and see how they dealt with the struggles in their lives.

I gained a great appreciation for the men and women who serve our country. This was based on two characters in the Air Force and Navy. I was about the different jobs they perform and the dangers they face. Along with that was a friendship and later a romance that developed through letters to each other. I loved it.

i am coming to find that this series is more romance than i usually read; yet this doesn't bother me. i can relate to the feelings of these characters and i like that the characters continue to be "real" and have ups and downs like people in the real world. i am totally enjoying this series!

I finished this book several months ago but forgot to update Good Reads. I believe I have finished all of the booksin this series written by Dee Henderson. I would recommend anyone to read stories by her. They usually include a mystery, romance, life struggles, all with a Christian base.

This book was also a gift from ages ago. It wasn't as captivating from the very beginning, like the first one...but I cried...and I didn't cry while reading the first one. I'm glad I read them and I think I would enjoy other books from thsi author as well.

I read this series a few years ago and loved them. They are very patriotic, about military officers, which is a big part of what I liked about them.

A Navy pilot and a PJ (pararescue jumper) deal with love, separation, stressful job and difficult memories. A Christian romance adventure.

First book that I had read with this format. It is slightly different from others in series. Loved it. True romance.

These are all written by a Christian author. They're all just fun mystery/action/romance books that are quick reads.

Very technical. If you're not a pilot or current/past military, you probably will miss a lot of it.
