The girl: Grayson Ware. Wealthy and oh-so-beautiful heiress, although she's turned all of her suitors away. Grayson excelled at elocution in school, so she's convinced she's destined for the stage - if she can't do it in London, she'll run away to America and be a star. For realz.

Elizabeth Kary (aka Elizabeth Grayson) has had a lifelong love affair with writing. She published her first poem in fourth grade, and finished an historical novel at fifteen.
