I thought the last book had been missing something--Yuri wasn't assaulted! Not once! No wait I totally lied the Prince of Darkness began his assault at the end of Book 6 and then followed through into book 7. Phew. I thought that Shinohara was losing her touch!

Welcome back to another round of Yuri is manhandled and then makes her enemy concede she is so much more awesome then he could ever hope to be. At this point the Prince of Darkness should have probably just been like "I put Yuri in danger.

I found this series on a mere coincidence but it quickly became one of my all time favourites. I read the entire series in 1.5-2 days. It was truly wonderful and a joy to experience.
Such a cliffhanger at the end! Again!

Is a great book to read forever
What first drew me to this series was the romantic historical aspect. I loved how a modern day girl gets pulled back into the past. I don't know what it is about those stories that attract me so much, maybe it is the difficulty for the girl of fitting in and having to rely on the guy so much to be able to get along in the world.

I would really recommend this series to fans of Inuyasha, it has a lot of the same concepts.
I love the political repercussions to the previous arc. It's definitely proof of the series' utilization of history, and it just generally makes me happy.

Now if only I didn't have to deal with cliffhangers!

Yuri misses her chance to go home and an unexpected proposal from Egypt poses a threat to Yuri and Kail's relationship.
