Read in January, 2008
An architectural survey of extant buildings from 1820 (the first remaining)through the 1890's, this little volume is a worthy addition to the building of the City. Domestic architecture always takes a back seat to the monumental, but not here. Once we stopped tearing down our heritage, we ended up with this small enclave in the City, and though its period integrity is broken, the remaining remnants are considerable in number.
