Recommends it for: kids and fraidycat adults
Shelves: children-teen
Not the best Mauri Kunnas, but good nonetheless. Tells of familiar scary characters and why they are the way they are, in a non-threatening, good-for-kids (or fraidycat adults) way. I love Witch Snaggletooth. Artwork is fun but wording plus artwork placements could be confusing for some kids (or fraidycat adults).
This is one of my very favorite children's books, and I'm sorry that I don't see more members as owning a copy. It's a wonderful collection of humorous "scary" stories suitable for Halloween and readers all ages. The illustrations especially are a treat!
